Expert Trading Calls - 16th November 2017

Domestic equity markets are likely to see a flat to positive opening on Thursday, tracking Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX Nifty) and mixed global cues. 

At 8 am, Nifty futures trading on SGX were trading 9.5 points, or 0.09 per cent, lower at 10,155.50, indicating a flat start for the Nifty50. Here is a list of top stocks that are likely to be in focus in today's trading session: 


Reliance Communications: The company said that it is not making any payment to lenders or bond- holders for the time being as it is under 'standstill period' with invocation of strategic debt restructuring scheme and working on asset-monetisation. 


5Paisa Capital: 5Paisa Capital, an online financial services provider belonging to IIFL Group, will make its debut on the bourses on November 16. Market watchers expect the company to list between Rs 180 and Rs 200 apiece, which will value it at approximately Rs 250 crore. 


Fortis Healthcare: Fortis HealthcareBSE 7.67 % will buy back the real estate assets that house its 14 existing hospitals and four upcoming projects from Religare Healthcare Trust (RHT) for Rs 4,650 crore, including Rs 1,152 crore of debt. The transaction also involves Fortis Healthcare acquiring the 49 per cent stake in Fortis Hospotel from the Singapore Exchange-listed RHT. 


Crisil: Rating agency Crisil said it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100 per cent stake in data analytics company Pragmatix Services Pvt Ltd for Rs 56 crore. 

Pragmatix is focused on delivering solutions to the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) vertical.

Buy PC Jeweller at a price target of Rs 394 and a stop loss at Rs 327 from entry point.

Buy The Ramco Cements, target Rs 730: Manas Jaiswal

Buy The Ramco Cements at a price target of Rs 730 and a stop loss at Rs 685 from entry point.


Buy Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, target Rs 470: Pritesh Mehta

Buy Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services at a price target of Rs 470 and a stop loss at Rs 430 from entry point.

Sell Gujarat State Fertilizer & Chemicals at a price target of Rs 122 and a stop loss at Rs 141 from entry point.

Sell Indraprastha Gas, target Rs 287: Pritesh Mehta

Sell Indraprastha Gas at a price target of Rs 287 and a stop loss at Rs 311 from the entry point.

Buy ACC, target Rs 1,825: Pritesh Mehta

Buy ACC at a price target of Rs 1,825 and a stop loss at Rs 1,752 from the entry point.

Sell Steel Authority of India (SAIL), target Rs 72: Manas Jaiswal
